Refunds & billing
What you buy
Hunt Pass is billed by Stripe. The statement descriptor is STOOPHUNT. Two options:
- Weekly: $6.99 USD per week until you cancel. New accounts get one 72-hour (3-day) trial with a payment method on file. If you do not cancel before the 72 hours end, the first $6.99 week starts automatically. One trial per account.
- 2-week pass: $10.99 USD once for 14 days. It does not auto-renew, so there is nothing to cancel. It ends on its own.
How to cancel
Sign in → Manage subscription. When your trial is about to end, we may first offer your next week for $0.99 instead of $6.99. That offer is optional: you are only charged $0.99 if you choose it instead of canceling, and after that week the plan returns to $6.99/week until you cancel. Choose Cancel subscription to go to Stripe’s customer portal and cancel there. Access continues through the end of the trial or the week you already paid, then stops. We do not require a phone call.
Refunds
- Trial. Cancel before the 72 hours end and you should not be charged. If a charge posts because cancel was late or Stripe had already invoiced, email us — we refund a first-week charge that landed only because of a trial mix-up.
- 2-week pass. It starts when you pay and is generally not refunded once it starts. It never renews.
- After a paid week starts. That week is generally not refunded. Cancel to stop the next week.
- Duplicate or obvious error. We refund true double charges and charges we made in error.
- Unauthorized charges. Write support@stoophunt.com and, if needed, your bank or Stripe.
Refunds, when we issue them, go back to the original payment method through Stripe. Timing depends on your bank (often several business days).
Failed payments
If a renewal card fails, Stripe will retry. Hunt Pass access can end if payment does not succeed. Update the card in Manage subscription.
Taxes
If sales tax or similar applies, Stripe may collect it on top of the listed price ($6.99, $10.99, or $0.99). The checkout total is what you authorize.
